



At SH Weddings, we'll probably call you a rockstar, because you are one. We'll also probably cry at your ceremony while simultaneously going over our timeline to make sure we're on schedule.
Simply put, we adore what we do. Seriously. End of story. We involve ourselves with anything and everything that has to do with weddings, and have a concentration on wedding coordination and planning. We're passionate about brides and grooms enjoying their wedding day, and we do everything possible to make it happen. Couples put so much time, energy and resources into planning a wedding, and it only seems right to fully enjoy every minute of that day with friends and family. That's where we step in. We take care of it all from verifying vendor contracts and creating detailed timelines, to meticulously executing the venue set-up and coordinating a grand send-off. And, of course, there's everything else in between.

I first began planning events four years ago when I organized and coordinated my mom's surprise 50th birthday party. When it went off without a hitch, and when I saw my mom's expression of happiness and appreciation, I thought to myself, "I want to do this for a living." Always the organizer and planner in my family, and with the nickname "The Captain," I decided that someday, I would make it happen.
Four years later, shortly after our own wedding, SH Weddings was born. I decided to focus on weddings because of the thrill of the celebration. I love seeing couples and their families come together for a day to celebrate something as amazing as a committment from two people to always love each other. Life is about love, and I like to think I'm contributing to the world with each wedding I do.
Before starting SH Weddings, I coordinated corporate events - everything from small educational sales summits to lavish yacht dinner parties - for a year when I worked for an international company headquartered in upstate New York. Since then, I've always found my niche working as a project and office manager where my attention-to-detail personality was a perfect match. While I have always enjoyed the fast-paced career in marketing, weddings are my true passion.
Things you should know about me:

While Sam may handle everything related to the organization of your wedding, from timelines to vendor coordination, I am working more behind the scenes to make the day all come together. Whether it be tying 175 chair sashes to hanging posters, I will make your reception space look better than you could even imagine it to be. I love weddings just as much as my wife. The look on the bride and grooms face when they first see everything come together makes all our hard work worth it.
In addition to working at SH Weddings, I also have worked in Graphic Design and Marketing Coordination since graduating from college. This experience allows me to help you in many areas of your wedding planning from the design of your invitations to coming up with interesting ideas to make your wedding stand out from all the others that you have been to.
